The three persons of the Trinity are fully equal in their “invisible attributes,” in their “eternal power and divine nature” (Rom 1:20). They are each involved in the works of creation and providence. Especially in relation to the work of salvation, however, each person of the Trinity performs works that are mainly or uniquely his own.
